The Åbo Akademi University Foundation has moved to Astra

The Åbo Akademi University Foundation has relocated its office from the Observatory to the new Astra building.
Joining us in Astra are the staff of the Donner Institute for Research into Religion and Culture. The Institute previously operated in Juridicum (formerly known as Humanisticum). In Astra, the Institute will maintain a small library featuring its newest publications. All books can still be ordered via Alma, the search service for Åbo Akademi University Library and collected from the university’s lending stations.
Astra, commissioned by the Åbo Akademi University Foundation, stands on the site where Gadolinia once stood. Gadolinia’s former café area and adjoining terrace have been preserved and carefully restored.

Visitors are kindly asked to use the entrance from the middle of Porthaninkatu. The foundation logo is displayed on the front door, and the office is located on the 5th floor.
