The Dahlström Eminentia Prize
The Dahlström Eminentia is awarded as a distinguished lifetime achievement prize to an artist working in the Turku region. The prize is awarded to artists active in the fields of painting, sculpture, drawing, or photography.
The prize, awarded every three years from the Åbo Akademi University Foundation’s Ellen and Magnus Dahlström Fund, honors and continues the legacy of Ellen and Magnus Dahlström, who were exceptionally significant patrons of art and science in Turku.
The prize is awarded in collaboration with the Art Association in Turku (Konstföreningen i Åbo r.f. – Turun Taideyhdistys ry), which manages the Turku Art Museum. The prize sum is 15,000 euros.
